Fit Gingerbread Cookies
Gingerbread cookies are a treat that few can resist, and when there's a healthy version of these cookies, we have an excellent solution for enjoying the sweets we love without guilt.

Mixture for 35 Fit Gingerbread Cookies:

  • 2 eggs

  • 1.5 dl of honey

  • 5 dl of spelt flour or whole wheat flour

  • A small teaspoon of baking soda

  • A teaspoon of cinnamon

  • A pinch of salt

  • A few drops of vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and honey until well combined.

  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the spelt or whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

  4. Form the Dough: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. Add a few drops of vanilla extract and mix well.

  5. Shape the Cookies: Using your hands or a cookie cutter, form the dough into gingerbread shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
